Superb SX200 restoration

Postby Steve Holloway » Tue Nov 20, 2007 3:39 pm

Met a smashing bloke by the name of Ken Orchard at the Tea Hut on Saturday, told us all about his SX200 that he had restored by Revival a couple of years ago. Largely due to the pressure of work, it`s been stored at his office ever since and not been ridden! I`ve been along and taken a couple of photos. It really is a superb restoration job. For the purists, I had a quick look at the frame and engine numbers, they look good to me. And no, it definitely is not for sale!

It was Imported from portugal a couple of years ago by Revival at Kens request. Anyone who was at the Bath parts fair a couple or three years ago would have seen it in its original state.........quite a transformation. There was a before and after ....his being the before.

I dont think hes ever had it out on the road. What a waste.

You`re right Paul, It`s never been on the road, such a shame. I had a good look over it, the quality of the rebuild is just superb. If all of Revivals restorations were to this standard, what a loss they surely are to the West Country scooter scene.
