Wispa TV Advert
Posted: Wed Dec 24, 2008 4:30 pmYou may or may not know that in a response to a campaign some time ago by Cadbury, who were looking for Mod Scooters (as well as loads of other things) to appear in a new tv advert for Wispa bars, a few of us, on behalf of BMSC, pledged our scoots (plus owner/ riders) to take part.
As an employee of Cadbury, Graham Clark had early news of the whole thing, and we were the first to pledge at least ten scoots (plus more if required!)- at the end there were more than 300 other pledges of mod scoots- and they were very keen to use us, and Graham put alot of time and effort into sorting everything out! However, after selecting the location, Cadbury (or the company making the ad) rejected our offer. We presume that they chose a group of scoots more local to the selected venue!
So we were a bit pissed off to say the least. Never mind eh, Graham, we tried our best! They lost out on having the best set of mod scoots in the UK!
Anyway, here's the ad- maybe we didn't miss out on much after all!
