Club Minibus

Postby Steve Holloway » Wed Apr 01, 2009 11:24 am

As most of you know, we have previously discussed the possibility of the club having its own minibus for Rideouts etc.

Having just replaced one of my own 16 seat minibuses, I am thinking of donating the old one to the club. It is in very good condition and has many years of service left in it.

It already has a towbar fitted to it, so of course we now need somebody to come up with a large trailer for the scoots! perhaps we can hire one for the time being (they are quite cheap to hire, nowhere near as expensive as the vans we are constantly having to hire)

I think this will enable us to travel further afield, i.e. Glos` Somerset etc, without the need to keep hiring those costly vans!

Let me know what you think.

That sounds just the job! Coincidently a work colleague of mine offered me a large trailer the other day, said I could have it for 'next to nothing', as it was cluttering up his drive. I'll see if he's still got it!
