Yet another top day for BMSC, doing what we do the best- showing off our scoots! An excellent turnout despite the weather being a bit on the dodgey side first thing, and as usual, we were the star attraction, giving the crowds an amazing line up of fantastic mod scoots to admire!
Malcolm turned up on his SX which he was offering for sale, and with a little assistance on his sale sign, he had quite a lot of interest! (I expect his phone is still ringing now!) Still, with the current economic climate, I reckon 600 quid for an old SX200 is a fair price!
Also a few guys came up from the Bridgwater area on their scoots- fair play to them! And of course, there was the usual stunning selection of other Italian vehicles on show. Thanx to everybody who managed to turn up on the scoots and extra special thanx must go to the organisors for a very successful and enjoyable day. Incidentally, a DVD of the day will be out soon, and of course, us lot and our scoots will be featured in it!
Here's a few short Utube clips -
In this one, Norm can be seen giving his scoot a bit of a clean up before the crowds turn up. (Notice how well he handles that cloth- I reckon he does a bit of window cleaning on the side to help fund his flambouyant lifestyle!)

And here we are with the crowds looking on-

This is during the "Gentlemen, start your engines!" when all the Ferraris with racing exhausts rev the bollox off their motors! We don't take part in this- 'tho Gerry did it one year, and nearly set fire to his parka!! But you do hear Mike sounding his hooter!

This is an attempt at doing a serious study of Gerr's scoot, with a nice bit of 'Oo playing on his add on sound system- it all goes well, with Gerry looking ultra cool in the background, then it all goes a bit Pete Tong!

Of course, there were some fantastic vehicles there- no scoots in this clip, just some Ducatis and a Ferrari, leaving the site. The guy in the red jacket is Paul, the main man- he organised the day- quite a task- and he's a dead nice geezer as well!

Here we see Norm, leaving a little bit early- said he had to do a few little jobs! Yep, he's deffo got a window cleaning round!

Here's Gerry leaving, his new engine sounding nice as pie, and his horn in good working order!
