Sunday On The IOW

Getting up at 3:15 am on a Sunday morning sounds like a bit of a nightmare, (had at least two hours kip!) but it was well worth it to get to the good ol' IOW to meet up with the BMSC lads already down there.

Weather not too good, well cloudy but least it stayed dry- I guess that's as good as it gets with this big time shitty summer! Rich B, Rich P , Dave C, Dave M (is there some sort of twinning going on 'ere?) with his daughter Amanda on pillion, and myself made up the Sunday contingency, meeting up with the rest of the BMSC crew at Ryde.

Already there were wing commander Gerry (You'll see why later!), Gary (on tasty new series 2 and getting it on with a policewoman!), Mike (gave us a great guided tour of the scoots!), Russ and his mate Jimmy ( both IOW virgins!), Graham (Keeping Russ and Jimmy out of trouble- supposedly!), Stevie W (wearing a lovely cravat!) Steve H (a busman according to Mike!), and Clive ( he could give Arther Daley a few tips on selling techniques!). Also on the island from our club were Rich T (we saw him going as we rode towards Ryde) Kevin and Martin.

We must have been the most impressive club line-up on the Sunday, a fantastic show with all the scoots looking fab (as usual!) and attracting a lot of attention and compliments (yet again, as usual!) from the crowds.

Of course, our buddy Bernie was there, videoing the whole thing, and his DVD will soon be available- all the clubs, all the scoots and all the fun!

We all went on the big rideout (I can still taste the two stroke!) and peeled off to the Hare And Hounds for a smashing bit of Sunday lunch.

nice photos jim mate a big thanks to all who made to the isle this year, it was a great weekend, glad to say that so far (touch wood) everyone got back safe and well from i-o-w which is the best news, after the last few years, there where a few breakdowns but to be expected,i seemed to have my toolkit out more times this weekend , than micheal jacksons doctors perscription book

Well what can I say a great weekend mates who are the best I got being the virgin thanks to Graham for looking after me ace bloke.Watching the maintenance crew was brilliant Gerry And Steve realy know whats what with scoots.
I wouldnt miss this weekend no no no!
