Just thought I`d mention that the actor Norman Bowler (Frank Tate from Emmerdale) that we saw at The Cottage Pub today riding his mountain bike, is 77 years of age!
If I look that good when I reach that age, and I`m still riding my scoot, I`ll be happy!

According to the interweb Mr Bowler was the star of Softly Softly, which as I recall was an OK police series. Then he descended into Emmerdale as Mr King, wife of the evil Clair King.
Just out of interest (if there is any) he also appeared in The Avengers, Combat and Robin of Sherwood (one episode of each), some rubbish films, and one that was rated as very good - Submarine X1 alongside Jack Hawkins.
So I guess he is quite famous.
