A few of us met up this morning (Sunday 11th Oct) for a local ride (very local, due to the rain!) for a nice bit of Sunday lunch, but what really made the day was walking into the Arnolfini and seeing Rich B sat there having a cup of tea! Obviously he didn't ride his scooter- he's still recovering from his op- but he's in good spirits although not feeling too good some days, and understandably feeling a bit bored and a bit frustrated about not being able to play with his scoots! (You can see Richard's scooters at the start of Bernies IOW '09 DVD!)

Well done Rich, the whole club wishes you all the best, and we hope to see you again soon, with or without the scooter!

Fair play to everyone else who turned up at the Arno- Norm, Ray and Ashley Mcguirk, Clive, Des, Squeaker (after a bit of persuading from Des!) Mike, Cyril and Lyn. Shame it was raining (quite heavy in some places ) in the morning, as a few more would have turned up- never mind guys, maybe next time!
