2010 Events + pics

We are currently compiling our Scootering Diary for this year, so if you have any suggestions regarding any events that you'd like to see the club attending in 2010, please could you let me know.

I've confirmed our attendance at the following events, which we've been going to for quite a few years now, and BMSC are regarded as an important regular feature at all of them.

BRISTOL ITALIAN AUTO MOTO FESTIVAL
SATURDAY 24th APRIL
We all really look forward to this event as it sort of kickstarts our scootering event season. It's being held at the usual venue- the Corn Street area of Bristol. This really is a superb event- loads of fabulous Italian vehicles to drool over, and of course, the public love to see all our scoots.

BRISTOL MINI DAY
SUNDAY 6th JUNE
Always a great day, loads of lovely minis to look at plus quite a few autojumble stalls to have a rummage around- some of us have picked up some nice bits and pieces over the years! We're always very well received at this event, especially when we ride into the show. This year it's being held at a different venue- yet to be confirmed, but I think it might be the same place as the Volksfest event.

BRISTOL VOLKSFEST
THE WEEKEND 11th - 13th JUNE
A few club members stay the whole weekend in camper vans, and some great bands have played there over recent years, so loads of things to do here. When we turn up on the Sunday morning, we ride around the whole site, and all the VW guys love to see us (well, maybe not the hungover ones!) so all in all this is one of our favourites!

This year it's being held at-
WASHINGPOOL FARM, EASTER COMPTON, BRISTOL BS35 5RE, which I think some of you have been to for some other events.

BRISTOL BIKE SHOW
SATURDAY 21st AUGUST
This is always a fantastic event, loads of amazing motorbikes to check out, and we always enjoy a bit of friendly banter with all the bikers. It's being held at the usual place- the Corn Street area of Bristol. Last year we had an excellent day, and this year we hope to have even more of us attending, so it would be really good if you can be there with your scoot and join in the fun!
