How far did we get with these?

On my travels today I came across a local company who can do this. If we can supply a mock up, he'll give me a quote.

He sounds reasonable but was quoting a cost "per thousand stitches" or something like that.

I did say it might be only 50 and he didn't have a problem with that.

50 is the max, the design we had was to fancy, so it is up for grabs, see if they have any ideas, not really the target, it has been done to death

they don't design- they'll reproduce anything we want.

OK- do we have any graphic designers out there or someone thats pretty good with a PC?

IMO, we need a SIMPLE design, possibly featuring a scooter with Bristol Mod S.C. on it, and possibly "its a way of life" somewhere as well

Round; Oval; square or oblong?

Personally I'd go for:-

1) Oblong
2) side shot of scooter (possibly the pic of Norms new scoot???)
3) "Bristol Mod S.C". along the top
4) "it's a way of life" down the bottom
5) Three colours; Red White and Blue, with black script?

Any ideas? Can someone knock something up?

The only problem with chrome.........................

the image becomes very complex and a lot more expensive to reproduce as a patch AIUI.

If possible, why not bash out a couple of ideas- one fully modded and one plain(ish) so I can show the guy and get an idea of price on both?

This has my full support. Unfortunately I can`t offer any help by way of design etc, as I am hopeless on the computer! Anything else I can do to help, count me in.

This has been talked about at the last couple of AGM`s, but quantities have not made it viable, so if Chris has found someone who will do a (fairly) small quantity, let`s go for it.

I think Chris has hit the proverbial nail on the head in saying we need a simple design. Historically all the great logo designs have been very simple, and personally I think that if you start trying to include images of scooters, plain or chromed up, it might start to lose it's impact. Are these patches the embroidered type or the photo image on cloth type? If we just want an embroidered type, what about this place. I could see "BMSC" or "BRISTOL MOD SC" working nicely on this sort of thing-

the logo will probually be hard to reproduce, because of 3d chrome affect, am liking jims bottom (dont we all) picture, with BRISTOL MOD S.C would look cool in red white and blue
