Blimey! That should split the island in half- Paul is very much like marmite among the scootering scene! You either can't stand him because of his obvious media connection to the 'mod' scene and associate him with what is perceived by many true mods as one of the 'plastic' mods. OR you love him for his amazing track record- Jam, Style Council etc, and hold him in high esteem as the iconic 'modfather' figure.

I've not heard all of his latest album but did catch his single taken from it on the radio- it immediately reminded me of something from the sixties and I've just remembered what it is- listen to both these tracks, they're different in tempo key and lyrics, but to me they have a similar structure and chord sequence!
