I know its not what we're used to but to a 16 year old kid, this could be an introduction to the real thing in due course.

Although the styling is instantly recogniseable as Lambretta based, and the lines of the sidepanels are quite pleasing, I personally wouldn't want one. As for 16 year olds, they mostly want 'peds such as Yamaha Aerox's, de-restricted with a 70s kit, bigger carb, different clutch rollers and a well noisey expansion pipe. I should know- my 2 lads got through 5 mopeds in one year! I'm certain they would see this new Lambretta styled scooter as strictly for 'old dears' to commute to work on, and definately 'not cool'!
