Good day out was surprised at the number and variety of scooters that turned up. Nice to hear that Gerry's TV will soon be back on the road. And that Kidney John's project is 'almost complete' !!! javascript:emoticon(':whistle:')
Re potential oil seal problem I checked the breather plug when I had the big smoke problem last year. The level and drain plugs were very soft alloy so I replaced all three with stainless MB ones and checked the new breather was clear at the same time. Maybe that was the problem but will keep tabs on the oil level for a while.
Will get hold of the silent block and tool and will be in touch, so thanks for that.
