BBC filming

lifted from Scooterotica ( who got it from LCGB). Posted if anyone interested:-

Hi All

The LCGB have been approached to arrange a minimum of 20 '60ts looking' Lambretta's for filming by the BBC for a feature on Mods and Lambretta's.

A number of Lambretta's will be further 'customised' (i.e. panels, mudguard vinyl wrapped with 60t's designs) for the filming and they wil be returned to the original condition, as before.

All scooters (& riders) must be available for filming over the weekend of 19th to 21st April (unfortunately this clashes with the same weekend of LCGB Coast to Coast ) and be prepared to travel to the Southend area, on either Saturday 20th, and/or Sunday 21st April.

Ideally, Lambretta's must be 'lights and mirrored' already, and specifically a brightly coloured GP is being sought as the 'main' Lambretta for further designs to be panel wrapped. (This particular Lambretta will be 'star of the show')

With their being around 1,500 LCGB members in London and the South East, I'm hoping there is no shortage of Lambretta's (& their owners) that answer this call, and make themselves available to be captured on film doing what they love - riding their Lambretta's.

There is a very tight timescale on having to arrange Lambretta's for the filming so if you are available, and interested, you need to send a photo of your 'lights and mirrors' Lambretta, along with a contact phone number By Friday 5th April to: oasc@btopenworld.com

Cheers
