Santa's On A Bike - Saturday 6th December.

Postby Jim » Fri Nov 28, 2014 8:56 am

Every year on the first Saturday in December, hundreds of bikers (and some scooterists) from the Bristol area ride to The Childrens Hospice in Wraxall, taking with them cash and Christmas presents for the children.

There are various meeting points outside of Bristol, but they all meet up at The Long Ashton Park And Ride.

If you are in Bristol, you can meet up at Dick Lovetts Cribbs Causeway for the ride through Bristol, or at Long Ashton, where you can continue onto The Childrens Hospice at Wraxall.

Here are the meet up details copied from their website-

Dick Lovetts to the Children’s Hospice at Wraxhall.

Leave Dick Lovetts at 1.00pm turning left onto Cribbs Causeway (A4018) straight over Crow Lane roundabout following A4018 onto Falcondale Road continue A4108 to White Tree roundabout, across the Downs to Blackboy Hill and down White Ladies Road, through the Triangle turning right down Park Street. A round Bristol Centre. On to Anchor road along to Hotwells over Cumberland basin onto Brunel way turning left to the Long Ashton Park and Ride. We will re-group in the Long Ashton Park and Ride before continuing along the B3128 Clevedon Rd to the Children's Hospice at Wraxhall for 2.15pm.

This ride is always good fun and for a great cause. Why not pop on yer Santa outfit, (not compulsory LOL!!), tinsel up yer scoot a bit and join in. Don't forget to bring some cash to drop into the collection buckets! Meet up at Dick Lovetts around noon to 12:30.
