Colin's Ride - Now on Sunday 9th August
Posted: Thu Jul 16, 2015 7:35 amAs you probably know, Colin's Ride Of Remembrance did not actually happen due to the horrible weather on the day!
We've discussed what day to hold this re-arranged ride on, and for every proposed Sunday that someone could do, there was also someone else who couldn't make that day!
So trying to be a bit diplomatic, we are, as was suggested in the other posting, going to be doing this ride out on -
SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST
This is scheduled in our diary as our customary 'Second Sunday' of the month ride anyway, so seems the fairest and most logical day to choose!
I apologize if you are reading this and thinking "Aw fuc#in' ell, I can't make that date!", but as we're now in the holiday season I daresay that whatever date we choose, somebody won't be able to make it on that day!
However, when the forecast heatwave begins, we will most likely be having impromptu meet ups on some of the other Sundays anyway!
I'll be flagging up a reminder with the meet up details for Colin's ride the week before the 9th, so keep an eye on this forum for that and any other meet ups!
I sincerely hope that most of us can make this date, and we have a good turnout on the day to remember out mate Colin.
Hope that this all meets with majority approval!
