November - What is happening?

Postby Jim » Tue Oct 27, 2015 10:20 pm

As you might expect for this time of year, there isn't a lot in our diary! Shorter days, colder and wetter weather, not too good for riding around on the scoot!

However, if we do get a reasonable spell of dry and not too cold weather, we may well meet up on the scoots for a coffee, so keep an eye on this forum!

And of course, good ol' Bernie is busy as usual, with gigs on most weekends, so at least that's something to look forward to! Here's details of his 'BIG NIGHT OUT!'

BERNIE'S BIG NIGHT OUT - SATURDAY 7TH NOVEMBER
Held at the now famous 'HAWAIIAN BAR' at the SPORTSMANS pub just up from the Colston Hall. All the best vintage Soul, Blue Beat, Northern Soul, Motown, Reggae and more, all played on lovely old vinyl! Well priced drinks, great atmosphere, fabulous dance floor and very friendly crowd, this is guaranteed to be a great night! Loads of guys from the Bristol scooter scene are always there, so why not come along and join in the fun!
See Bernie's flyers for all the info on his other dates for this month!

There's also this -

NEVER ON SUNDAY - SOUL SKA MOTOWN - SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER
A night of 60's and 70's live music from THE BLAK FLAMEZ in aid of PENNY BROHN CANCER CARE. This is being held at THE OLD FIRE STATION, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2AG. £12 entry.
Call Skip on 07788901462 for tickets and more info. Sounds like another great night for a really good cause!

Also if you are coming to our Xmas Meal, please could you let me know ASAP! Ta!

Keep your eye on this forum for anymore news and updates!

Take care and ride safe!
