The 'Hoggin' The Bridge' event is taking place this Sunday 16th October. Those of you who have taken part in this ride before will know what a great day out this is! Riding across The Old Severn Bridge with a couple of thousand motorbikes, it really is a lot of fun!

We'll be joining the ride at Severn View Services at Aust, riding across the Old Severn Bridge, turning off at Magor and riding back through Caldicot. Don't worry, we take it pretty easy along the motorway! The ride ends up in Chepstow Racecourse, where there are lots of stalls, sideshows and live entertainment, with plenty of outlets to get something to eat and drink!

Here's the plan. Please note the different meeting place this year. This Sunday we are meeting up in Morrisons car park at Cribbs Causeway, near The Mall Shopping Centre, just off Junction 17 of the M5. I'm sure you all know where this is! You don't need to go on the M5 to get there, as the area is accessible from the Henbury side of Bristol and also from Filton.

Meeting up here means we are just ten minutes away from Severn View Services, just having to ride down through Easter Compton. Also we can get petrol, breakfast or coffee etc. at Morrisons if required.

So, here's the main details-

MEET UP AT 10:30AM

THIS SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER

IN MORRISONS CAR PARK

AT CRIBBS CAUSEWAY BRISTOL

LEAVING AROUND 11:00AM

TO JOIN THE HOGGIN' THE BRIDGE RIDE

AT SEVERN VIEW SERVICES.

This really is an enjoyable day out on the scoots, so please try and join us if you can! It is a charity fund raising event, so please be prepared to pay a fiver entrance fee at Chepstow Racecourse.

Every year this ride seems to strike lucky with the weather, and today was no exception!

Despite some really heavy rain early in the morning, we had pretty much blue skies for most of the ride! Just a little bit windy going across the bridge, as usual!

Many thanks to all who turned up at Morrisons to take part in Hoggin' The Bridge, and I hope you all enjoyed the day and got home safe!
