August - What's Happening ?

Postby Jim » Mon Jul 31, 2017 6:42 pm

Weather's been a pretty mixed bag of late! Some hot sunny days, some cool rainy days, and all the other days a bit of a mixture of everything! There is talk of a solar blast heading towards us sometime over the next few weeks causing a record breaking heatwave! So maybe August is gonna be really good!

So what's happening scooter-wise?

SATURDAY 12TH AUGUST - 20TH ANNIVERSARY RIDE
Yes, BMSC celebrates it's 20th year, and to mark the occasion we are having a ride around Bristol. Meeting up at The Arnolfini as usual at 11:00am and departing around midday! Should be a bit of fun!

SUNDAY 13TH AUGUST - SECOND SUNDAY MEET UP

We'll be meeting up at The Arnolfini again at 11:00am. Probably bit of a low key sort of meet as we will have been out on the scoots on the Saturday!

SATURDAY 19TH AUGUST - BRISTOL BIKE SHOW
Show your scooter at this very popular event and mingle with all the bikers! It's held around the Corn Street area of central Bristol and is always very well attended by the general public. We've been going to this event for years and we always have a very enjoyable time! More details will be posted on here a bit nearer the day.

AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY - IOW OR BRIGHTON
This long weekend is the highlight of every scooterist's year! Whichever event you are going to, I hope the weather is really good and you all have a fantastic time!

Remember to check out this forum every now and then for more details and any updates.

And as always, please take great care and ride safe!
