Tyre removal
Posted: Wed Mar 27, 2019 11:08 amHi all,took scoot out sunday,got a puncture,replaced with spare but can't get tyre off or rims apart for love nor money ! Any ideas ?

Posted: Thu Mar 28, 2019 8:33 amCan you not just pull the inner tube out through the gap between the rims? Use small blocks of wood to keep them apart whilst you do that
Before fitting a new inner tube make sure there is nothing in the tyre like a small nail / screw etc
Top tip, when fitting a new inner tube it will be much easier if you inflate it very slightly first

Posted: Sat Mar 30, 2019 4:20 pmProblem sorted ! Wedged 2,2 inch small blocks of wood between rims then hit tyre with wooden mallet !
