For any one who's interested i have now wired up 6 spotlights and 2 bullet lights on the rear (brake/rearlights) without the aid of a battery all off the magneto
total power drain i reckon is no more than about 3 watts max
I have modified the spots and i have in them xenon LED bulbs (intense white light) the rear bullet lights red 9 LED bulbs plus the original light twin filament stop/tail LED
with all the lights on which are wired to the main beam, when you go from dip to main beam there is no headlight power drop whatsoever same goes for application of the brake light, no headlight power drop
Draw back about 4 quid a bulb but they reckon they last for years (we will see)
:-D :-D

This is how it starts- You put a few spots on yer scoot, then you wire'em up- I've seen it all before! Soon you'll be adding a coupla mirrors, hanging about in scooter shops, watching quadrophenia...Look at me, I started off like that, now I spend all my time checking out Ebay, looking for any old bit of chrome tat, and all my spare dosh goes on chrome cleaner- I'm on 2 tubes of solvol autosol a week, so don'y say you haven't been warned!!

Spot on....Autosol is abrasive. Use only to remove rust & tarnishing. Use Windolene for polishing,it doesnt damage chrome.
