Christmas Night Out

Postby Jim » Fri Oct 27, 2017 10:03 pm

It's that time of year yet again! Yes folks! Christmas!

We are having our Christmas Night Out on Saturday 2nd December at our usual venue - The Llandoger Trow Inn in King Street Bristol BS1 4ER. We've been going to The Llandoger for quite a few years now, and they always look after us really well, and the price is very reasonable!

Usual format - we have to pre-order our meals from the menu below. Either reply on here or text or call me on 07816 194736. We have to submit all of our orders by Saturday 18th November, so please let me know what you want to order ASAP.

If you are texting, please add your name(s) so I know who's ordering what! I always bring a copy of the meal orders with me on the night, as it's not unusual for folk to forget what they've ordered, especially after a few drinks!

Nothing to pay up front ! Please bring cash with you on the night, as paying by card makes it all a bit complicated!

We'll be meeting up in the bar at The Llandoger at 7:00pm ( or earlier if you like! ) and we'll be seated to dine at 8:45pm. Please allow yourself plenty of time to find a parking space, as it's always a bit busy at this time of year!

This is a great way to kick off the festive season! Hopefully this early date in December won't clash with any of your office or family Xmas parties!

All BMSC members, friends of the club, and partners and friends are very welcome to join us! The more the merrier!

My excuse not as "rock n' roll" as Danny's.
Mrs W has booked tickets for Little Matchgirl - just across the road at the Old Vic.
Soz to miss it - hope everyone has fun.

Many thanks to all who attended our Xmas meal on what was a very busy night at The Llandoger Trow Inn. Looks like the Christmas party season has well and truly started, with lots of revellers out on the town indulging in one or two festive drinks!

We were well looked after by the waiting staff as usual, and the food. for the price, was excellent!

Hope you all enjoyed the evening, and I look forward to seeing you all again!

Cheers for now, and have a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
