Tyre removal

Hi all,took scoot out sunday,got a puncture,replaced with spare but can't get tyre off or rims apart for love nor money ! Any ideas ?

Are the rims coming apart from each other in the centre (where they were bolted together) but the tyres are stuck fast on the outer of the rims?

Can you not just pull the inner tube out through the gap between the rims? Use small blocks of wood to keep them apart whilst you do that

Before fitting a new inner tube make sure there is nothing in the tyre like a small nail / screw etc

Top tip, when fitting a new inner tube it will be much easier if you inflate it very slightly first

Problem sorted ! Wedged 2,2 inch small blocks of wood between rims then hit tyre with wooden mallet !
