Nita's Famous Cheddar Ride

Postby Jim » Mon Sep 10, 2007 1:09 am

Great to see some of the 'faces' at the Lambretta bar today, turning up for the Cheddar ride (and free coffee-thanx Nita).Nice to see Mike Pick ,looking good on his SX, a lovely scoot , which sounds fantastic ( an original megaphone exhaust does the trick!). Others there- Graham, Dave Merchant (thanx mate for the mudguard trim), Mike G, Tall Paul (Rogers) on his recently purchased white SX,Gerry, who met us at Cheddar, and Bernie and his missus turned up at Wells, selling his IOW dvd, which I've just watched- it's really good, you should definately buy one!(Any commission, Bern?)

The other clubs were out in force, and good to see Kelvin on his first rideout since his mishap. Also a special thanx to Graham for hanging back while my scoot was having heat seizures (bit of a brown trouser moment).
