I'ts Pete Robson, Chris, tho the guy that owns/ runs the place is Stan. He's a helpful bloke with an interest in older vehicles, cars. bikes, and he sometimes has the 'odd' project for sale! Nearly bought a Raleigh Wisp off him a while back, but thought it through and didn't- can you imagine the pics of me turning up at the Tea Hut on it!!

He's just behind the rank of shops near the HSBC, you'll see a standup sign on the pavement when he's open. Phone number is- 01179698040, but sometimes closed on Wednesdays.

thanks Jim

booked in for Saturday.

I trust he's thorough- I've had MOT's done elsewhere and I've not been convinced that they've checked everything.

Yes, he's very thorough and very particular, and certainly would never pass a bike that wasn't totally roadworthy, that's for sure. With old scooters, he keep's getting "It's a Lambretta- the brakes never work!" quoted to him, but as Stan says, the brakes must've worked at some point! Fair comment! Just a tip- a common fault he encounters is loose clamp on the headstock, he will probably give it a good twist to see if yours is tight! (I presume it is!!)

Passed!

Very thorough bloke at Pete Robsons. Front disc brake within MOT spec but still not brilliant.

Certainly recommended

Lookin' good Chris!
