Kim explains why the shoot took place

“It all started with a photography project. I needed to get involved in something, and immediately, my mind clicked onto the Mods. I needed to go out and find them. I found the forum and after I arranged for them to come around for some pancakes, Gerry agreed and brought along Gary and his brother, Steve. When I saw them coming around the corner it was like a time warp- it always is with these guys. The camaraderie is fantastic and I realized then that it’s not about being gorgeous; it’s the pride in their scooters. Looking smart and being proud (sometimes to the point of arrogance), and that’s where the real charm is. “
