Welcome
to our new Bristol Mod Scooter
Club website |

The
Bristol Mod Scooter Club has been active for well over 10 years
with its roots firmly established in the true, Mod Scooter tradition.
The Club draws its membership from all walks of life but who share
a common passion – to own, restore and ride vintage Lambretta
and Vespa scooters in the true Mod style. Recently, this passion
has been recognized through the publication of a article about the
Bristol Mods, along with many excellent pictures of our Club Members
and their scooters, in a bookzine entitled “Mod Years 2006”.
We welcome new members who share an interest in the Classic Scooter
and, most importantly, in getting out and taking part in scooter
rides and rallies and other Mod events.
Club members and guests meet regularly on the 2nd Sunday of every
month. The current Club Meeting venue is The Arnolfini Centre situated
in the heart of Bristol Docks. Meeting times vary depending upon
the time of year and the events taking place – so we advise
a check of the “Forums” page on this, our newly updated
BMSC Website.
As well as daytime events, such as “Scooter Ride-outs”
to different venues around the South West and sometimes even further
- for example, to London or to the many Scooter Rallies organized
by established Scooter Rally organizations, there are also live
evening bands and disco events. The “Gigs and Other Events”
page of our Website usually provides those details.
We hope you enjoy our Website and the pictures which tell the story
of our Club and events we get involved in. If you wish to contact
us, please feel free to place a note on our main Forum.
