The Bristol Volksfest is being held over the weekend of 5th to 8th August, and we have been invited to attend on Saturday 7th August to show our scooters.

Our club has very proudly been going to this fantastic event with our scooters for many years now. Of course last year The Volksfest was cancelled due to Covid and unfortunately the year before that (2019) torrential rain waterlogged the grounds and we couldn't go! So this year everyone is extremely excited that all being well Volksfest 2021 is going ahead as usual!

The organisors are promising an action packed weekend celebrating all things Volkswagen with live entertainment, music, displays and more. This year's theme is Cali Culture; West Coast Cali Subculture. Low Riders, Venice Beach, Haight Ashbury, Big Sur and Wooly Bully, so should be a brilliant weekend!

If you want to know more, please click on the link to their very informative website - https://www.bristolvolksfest.co.uk/

The event is taking place at Birches Farm Long Ashton Bristol, which is the same showground as in recent years. We'll be meeting up at The Arno and riding from there to the venue.

MEET UP AT THE ARNOLFINI

ON SATURDAY 7TH AUGUST

BETWEEN 10 AND 11AM

DEPARTING JUST AFTER 11AM

TO RIDE TO THE BRISTOL VOLKSFEST

AT BIRCHES FARM IN LONG ASHTON

This is going to be an incredible event, especially after everything we've all been through over the last year, so please join us if you can to help make this a very special Volksfest! As usual please take care and ride safe!

Big thanks to everyone who showed up this morning for our day out at The Volksfest, despite the not too good weather forecast!

Was a bit damp there at times but the Vee Dub crowd really appreciated us being there, and it was just great to be taking part in an event again after such a long time! Everyone there just seemed to be thankful for a bit of normality again! Even the occasional rain shower couldn't dampen everyone's enthusiasm and enjoyment!

Thanks as usual to Adrian and his squad of helpers for putting on another great festival!

Well done and cheers!
