Well worth going up to the Tea Hut on this day. Me an' Des went up there last year, with a couple of other scootering guys, and it was a good bit of fun! Des entered into the spirit of things, and got togged up along with 100 bikers in Father Christmas outfits. You can put some dosh into their collection bucket for a very good cause, and if you want you can join in with the remaining part of the ride.

For those of you that want to take part, you'll need to be at the Tea Hut for mid day, this Saturday 4th Dec. If you want to put a bit of tinsel on your scoot, or put yer Santa Claus outfit on, all the better!

Over the last few years, the bikers have ridden from the Tea Hut down Bridge Valley road, and on to the Ashton Park and Ride, and then onto the Children's Hospice at Wraxall.

However, as you probably know, Bridge Valley Road is still closed, so the rideout will go from the Tea Hut down Blackboy Hill, Whiteladies Road, Park Street, round the Centre, and on to the Ashton Park and Ride.

So a few hundred bikers, mostly dressed up as santa, riding through town, accompanied by a few scooters - should be a big hoot! Hopefully the weather will be kind, and there won't be any snow about,

See you at the Hut! Jim

Postby willb » Mon Dec 13, 2010 9:56 pm

This is Will from Santa's on a Bike, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that braved the weather :freezing: and came to the Santa run. :clapping:
With the support we have had for this years run our total raised so far is £7414 and there is still money to come.
We have been able to load video and pictures of this years event onto utube and photobucket. There is a direct link on the home page of Santa's on a Bike.
You should be able to download the pictures straight from these sites. :puzzled:

Again thankyou for your support
