Chris

Link worked fine - one to keep I think - a once in a lifetime experience for those lucky people (the audience I mean of course). I'm not jealous.(':grrr:')

Jim That guy who brought in Kaiser Chiefs singer has purposely copied your side panels mate. Amazing sight, bet they thought they were only going to be on for 1/5th second as well :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

Well, there's always Portishead closing ceremony next year

Here's a nice vid of the scoots from the audience. Nobody stalled, no cables snapped, no punctures- amazing for a large group of scoots!

Well done to all the guys riding, what a fantastic experience!

Will be interested to know how it was all set up, future Scootering issues will hopefully do an article on it. Lovely to watch, even if we must all feel a little envious. Hopefully will spur a few more people to go out and get back on 2 wheels.

How many scooter riders, that watched it on TV, were wondering if there were about half a dozen scoots left outside the arena, that typically just wouldn't start, with the panels off, with the blokes effin' and blindin'!

I bet most of 'em had a new spark plug and spanner in their back pocket, just in case! But looking at the vid on Facebook, it looks lke they all got in OK- phew!

Chris...you are a typical Lambretta owner, thinking only of money, plenty of Vespa's in that scene as well but we dont think of our scoots in that way.
