For the ones that know and the ones that don`t after speaking local Mot tester and reading various items on DVLA /classic sites those who have a vehicle/scoots register before 1st January 1973 were tax exempt
Thanks to the Tories and Mr Osbourne the exemption will now be extented for vehicles registered before 1st january 1974
this will come into effect from April 2014 reading various items this will bring 31.329 vehicles out of the current taxation there go`s the balance of payments budget ! presume in the budget he worked it out that 2 pence on a a pint will cover cost. Anyway classic vehicle value`s for pre january 1974 vehicles should hopefully now rise
